We are excited to introduce the "Honoring Celeste Villanueva’s Legacy" fundraising campaign, a heartfelt initiative that allows us to pay tribute to Dr. Celeste Villanueva and continue her legacy of empowering education.
Celeste was not only a remarkable member of our SMU team but also a dedicated advocate for education and growth. In honor of her passion, we are launching this campaign to establish an endowed fund in her name. This fund will be dedicated to a scholarship that aligns with Celeste's vision, supporting individuals who embody her commitment to excellence and community.
Our Goals:
- Create an Endowed Fund: Our primary goal is to create a lasting impact by establishing an endowed fund that perpetuates Celeste's values. This fund will serve as a beacon of her dedication to education and will contribute to shaping promising futures. Minimum to establish an endowed fund is $25,000.
- Raise Awareness: We aim to shed light on Celeste's profound contributions to both our University and the broader community. By sharing her story, we hope to inspire others to join us in honoring her memory and continuing her legacy.
- Honest Engagement: Celeste touched the lives of many with her kindness, enthusiasm, and commitment. We want to harness the power of these feelings to encourage all to contribute to the endowed fund.
